Waitlist terms
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms cover the Ricochet waitlist. Using Ricochet itself, once it opens, will come with its own terms.
Joining
- Joining is free. Join only with an email address that’s yours, and confirm it through the link we send.
- One entry per person. Entries made with fake, disposable or someone else’s addresses, or by automated means, may be removed without notice.
Invites
- A place on the waitlist doesn’t guarantee access to Ricochet, or access by any date.
- Invites to the private alpha go out in batches. We choose who to invite and when, for example to match the providers and volumes we can support at that point.
- The alpha is early software: features, limits and availability can change, and it may be paused or reset. Its terms will say more when you’re invited.
- Prices aren’t set. Nothing on the site or in our emails is an offer of a price or plan.
Share links
Every confirmed signup gets a share link, and we record who joins through it. There’s no reward attached to referrals unless we announce one, with its own terms, by email. Don’t send your link as spam.
Emails
We email you about your invite and, occasionally, about Ricochet’s progress. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. The privacy policy explains what we store and how to have it deleted.
Changes and closing
We may change these terms or close the waitlist. If we change them in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell people on the waitlist by email.
